Only copyright owners or their authorized representatives are permitted to submit notices regarding claims of copyright infringement.

How to File a DMCA Notice

Notices must be submitted in written form to the designated contact for proper handling.

Required Information

1. Identification of the copyrighted work.
2. Identification and location of the allegedly infringing material.
3. Contact information of the notifier, including name and email.
4. A statement asserting a good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
5. A declaration made under penalty of perjury regarding the truthfulness of the provided information.
6. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.

Counter-Notification Process

Users whose content has been removed in error may submit a counter-notice. This must include their signature, identification of the material that was taken down, a good faith statement, contact information, and agreement to jurisdiction. The counter-notice will be reviewed upon receipt.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Metromuse reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users identified as repeat offenders when appropriate.
