Carried with quiet intent.

Metromuse is a studio-made line of everyday handbags designed around how women actually move through a day — supple leathers, honest hardware, shapes that hold what matters without fuss.

Five silhouettes, each built for a different rhythm — from desk to dinner, from market runs to long walks home.

The Ora Collection

Structured lines, softened at the edges.

Ora is our study in restraint. Each bag in the series is cut from a single leather hide, stitched in natural thread, and finished with brushed brass hardware that wears in rather than out. No logos, no seasonal slogans — just pieces meant to outlast the year you bought them.

A bag isn’t an accessory — it’s a quiet record of the days it goes through with you.

Made by hand

Slow craft, kept honest.

Every Metromuse piece passes through four sets of hands before it leaves the studio — a cutter, a stitcher, a finisher, and the person who writes the care card inside the dust bag. We publish the names behind each run because we think you should know who made what you carry.

Good to know

Before you carry

Our core range uses full-grain and top-grain cowhide from tanneries that share their process openly. A smaller seasonal line uses vegetable-tanned leather that develops a warm patina over the first year of use. Each product page lists the exact leather type, thickness, and finish.
For everyday upkeep, wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep the bag away from prolonged direct sun. A neutral leather cream every few months keeps the surface supple. Store inside the dust bag when not in use, loosely stuffed to hold its shape. Each order ships with a printed care card.
Most shoulder and crossbody styles include an adjustable or removable strap. Tote and clutch styles have fixed handles sized for the silhouette. Strap drop measurements are noted on every product page under the Details tab.
Returns are accepted within a 30-day window on unused pieces in original condition, with the dust bag and care card included. Lightly marked or altered pieces fall outside our return window but can be reviewed case by case — email the studio with photos and we’ll reply within two business days.
Yes. We offer restitching, edge re-finishing, and hardware replacement on pieces still in our active range and, where possible, on archived styles. Repair requests go through the Care page where you can send photos and pick a service window.
Core silhouettes restock on a rolling basis. Seasonal editions and numbered runs are made once and not reproduced. You can add your email on any sold-out page to be notified if a waitlist opens.
